With extensive experience in emergency management and a background as a former Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Logistics Officer, Erica has worked across multiple countries in training and Partnership for Peace Exercises. She is an alumni of the US Homeland Security International Visitor Leadership Program which has seen her work throughout the US and in Chile with her Emergency Management Partners from around the world. She has extensive experience with disaster response for complex events, as seen through her position as the Director of Emergency Management for Halifax Regional Municipality, and the strategic planning required to create an organic organization fulfilling all pillars of Emergency Management. Passionate about preparedness and operational efficiency, Erica brings a global perspective and proven leadership to every challenge.
