Trevor Jones is a lifelong resident of Chatham-Kent-Leamington who has served his community with distinction for over twenty years, most recently as a municipal Councillor in Leamington. Born and raised in Leamington, Ontario, Trevor developed a strong sense of community and a passion for serving others. He has a diverse background in law enforcement and public service, having spent significant time with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

During his tenure with the OPP, Trevor demonstrated exceptional leadership and professionalism, earning the respect of his colleagues and the community he served. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his strong work ethic, integrity, and dedication to public service. Trevor consistently shows a commitment to improving the lives of others and finding innovative solutions to complex problems.

Inspired by his unique experiences in law enforcement, his passion for his community, and a desire to support innovation and food security, Trevor transitioned his career to a business executive role. In this capacity, he advocates for Ontario's agriculture sector, ensuring it remains a world leader.

Most recently, Trevor was appointed as the Associate Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Response. In this critical role, he is responsible for coordinating the province's efforts to prepare for and respond to emergencies, including natural disasters, public health crises, and other emergencies. Trevor oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive emergency management plans, ensuring that communities across Ontario are equipped to handle potential threats.

As Minister, Trevor has spearheaded initiatives to enhance the province's emergency response capabilities, including the modernization of communication systems, the integration of advanced technologies for disaster response, and the strengthening of community resilience programs. His leadership in this role underscores his unwavering commitment to public safety and his proactive approach to safeguarding the well-being of Ontario's residents.
