Doug has over 35 years of senior management experience in Sales and Marketing for various start-up and established companies worldwide. He has played an exciting role, over the last 25 years in the development of satellite communications in Canada. He was a key member of the team that launched the first Direct To Home satellite television service in Canada, Puerto Rico and Argentina plus assisted in launching Shaw’s satellite TV service.  Doug then launched LinCsat (now Xplornet ), Canada’s first residential broadband satellite service and Canada’s largest wireless broadband company. Doug has help lead Galaxy to become Canada’s #1 satellite broadband company featuring OneWeb LEO networks, Galaxy’s SmartSite end to end communication solution and Nokia’s Private 5G networks. Some of Galaxy’s key customers are the Canadian Navy, RCMP, DND, numerous mining companies and large camp operators.
