Dave Brand is a certified professional leadership coach and ELI Master Practitioner who helps emergency services personnel overcome operational stress to become magnetic, balanced, high-performance leaders. Dave is also an emergency manager, civil engineer, incident management team leader and public sector administrator with over 20 years of experience working with government agencies of all levels. Dave’s experience building high-performance teams and working as a civil engineer on critical community infrastructure across Western Canada taught him the value of empathy and curiosity in leadership. Dave is passionate about changing the perspective, viewing challenges that face emergency responders and incident management personnel as opportunities to elevate relationships and team performance through increased empathy, authentic leadership, emotional intelligence, and community engagement.
