With broad experience in program delivery and policy development, Colin has enjoyed rewarding careers with the Government of Alberta and the Canadian Armed Forces.

Highlights include collaborating with public safety professionals to deliver the first Emergency Management Framework for Canada, the first Canadian Standards Association Z1600 for Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs, and Slave Lake’s Re-entry plan. In addition to disaster response in Alberta over the past two decades, Colin cherishes his time deployed with resolute public servants in military operations in Namibia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Afghanistan.

Now serving with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency, Colin provides strategic advice on emerging priorities to shape public safety initiatives that benefit Albertans.
