Jasneet Mander graduated from York University with a Bachelors of Honours in Disaster and Emergency Management as well as a Professional Certificate in Public Policy Analysis. She spent years within various divisions in the City of Toronto including working at the Toronto Islands during the 2019 flooding. In 2021, she switched over to her current position as a Social Emergency Manager with AKRC. Over the years, she has dealt with covid emergencies to the floodings that occurred in Northern Ontario.
