Beth Gooding, Director (Public Safety Service)  

Beth Gooding worked in the federal public service for twenty years in the fields of emergency management and national security, before joining the City of Ottawa in 2021.  She has been deployed to a wide range of emergencies both in Canada and abroad. As the Director of the Public Safety Service within the City of Ottawa, Beth is responsible for the Office of Emergency Management, the Corporate Security Program, and the Corporate Radio System. She is also the City’s 9-1-1 Authority.

Beth Gooding a travaillé dans la fonction publique fédérale pendant 20 ans dans les domaines de la gestion des urgences et de la sécurité nationale, avant d’entrer, en 2021, au service de la Ville d’Ottawa. Elle s’est consacrée à toutes sortes d’urgences au Canada et à l’étranger. En tant que directrice du Service de sécurité publique de la Ville d’Ottawa, Beth est responsable du Bureau de gestion des mesures d’urgence, du Programme de sécurité municipale, du Système de radiocommunication municipal et des services 9-1-1 de la Ville.
